New coordination for the adult basketball league (as of
Sept 2004)
Due to the cuts over the last year in Parks and Recreation
staff there has been a reorganization of this department with
many of us taking on more programs. We have found that is has
become difficult for staff to keep up with the increased
workload. We are doing our best to keep all of our programs,
but we've had to start thinking in new ways to maintain our program
levels.
We will contracting out the running of the adult
basketball league to one of our long-time basketball officials Mike
Adam. Christi Neal will oversee the contract and he and I will
ultimately still be in charge of the program. We feel that
Mike Adam will do a fine job running the league and there will be no
changes to the current league. If you have any questions or
